How was what the CSA did, not "levying war"?

I'd love to read that SCOTUS opinion. Do you have a link? I didn't see if right off the bat. I'm I SC opinion junky.

CSA has to explain nothing, The God Damn Yankees actually fought the illegal war. To make their War of Aggresion "legal" they had to make believe the States had not seceded, that The States were not in rebellion, but that there were rebels within loyal States and the accursed Yankee mercenary army was liberating the poor souls of The South.

The only thing I've gathered from this thread is that Luke Skywalker and the entire Rebel Alliance were terrorists.

Guess they left that part out of the history books.

They weren't levying war on the States; Abe Lincoln was.

iIrc, there was a letter from the Chief Justice to President Johnson...
