Mullen didn't recruit Chris Relf, but he certainly developed him

Good thing you realize what development is since that's what Freeze did for all those players listed. The only ones that haven't gotten a lot better over these last 3 years are the OL, Bell and Morris.

(and who started the next 3 years and set MSU passing records). Both had QB ratings over 140 in 2010.

Good thing you posted this part since it literally had nothing to do with the post you were responding to. I know you just needed something good to talk about, but try to stay with the same conversation.

It's relevant. The 2nd QB had a quarter of 2010 MSU's passing yards and passing TD's as a redshirt freshman.

The rest is relevant to the OP--Is Mullen a good coach? Mullen has finished with two Top 15 teams in the past 5 years. His 2014 offense was the 4th best SEC offense in history by yards/game.

I'm not saying Mullen is better than Freeze. Their results compare fairly well.

And really, it's still kind of early to tell for either. This is Mullen's first head coaching job EVER.

Many elite coaches started out their careers worse than Mullen and Freeze have, and some bad coaches started out better.
