I appreciate what Chavis did for LSU but I'm not blind to the fact he got stale here.

I can understand this. But, I don't remember EVER hearing a LSU fan say anything bad about him when he was at LSU. I saw many times LSU fans defend him tot he death and call anyone that criticized him a moron, uninformed or worse.

Now every day a thread is started about how bad he was/is. Granted, some of this is probably because A&M fans are egging some of this on....but man....let him go.

You should peruse my post starting history on the tiger rant. It's documented.

Do a search for Alabama games, Clemson, and Notre Dame...

Then you weren't on the board after the last 2 losses to Bama (at home), Clemson in bowl game, ND, etc.

As I've said, he's had a great run here and best of luck to him.

Then you weren't really paying attention, truthfully. Over the first few years of his defenses at LSU, we were ecstatic at the overall quality of his product. However, over his tenure, his deficiencies (although few) became glaring.

Of course we defended him because he was our coach and his success meant LSU's success, but that doesn't mean we weren't aware of his limitations as a DC and recruiter. Over the past few years, we really saw those limitations snowball and the grumblings increased.

Meh, just rubbing it in to A&M because they piled on the, "we stole your DC" bs when we wouldn't agree to his demands.
