I'm glad South Carolina is considering moving the confederate flag. It would be a tremendous gesture by the State. One that says intolerance is so 20th century and not part of 21st century South Carolina.

Didn't they only start flying it in the 1960s to piss off the blacks during the Civil Rights movement? Flying that flag at the State Capitol is no more a part of South Carolina heritage than black and white television, lava lamps, or smoking on airplanes.
