The swastika predates the Nazi party. It was originally a religious symbol. I don't see many people rocking that anymore though.

You really should get out more then. The swastika is still revered as a sacred symbol in two of the worlds major religions. While shunned in the west due to it's connotations to the Nazi era it is probably the most prevelant symbol displayed in Hindu and Budist society. Or in another words the majority of the worlds population.
