I don't believe he would have won as much because he would have broken down team chemistry.

A lot of football players don't like prima donna's who try to make everything about themselves. Especially not at Alabama where the team aspect, not the individual, is stressed.

Linemen don't block, running backs don't run, receivers don't catch for someone they don't respect or feel don't care about them.

I remember him taking over a game against Bama and prima donna or not his teammates didn't seem to mind.
