It's pretty scary how it seems like shooting is their first reaction instead of a last resort.

True enough, but the old "cops hate black people" doesn't fly as well in Mississippi. We're more integrated % wise and have a much higher percentage of black police officers..
If the Fergueson Riot had been in Jackson, MS 3 out of every 4 officers would be black guys..
