Also got a 2nd commitment today, this time from a OLB JUCO prospect named Eldridge Thompson, out of Coffeyville C.C. Not really any ratings out on him at the moment - he led Coffeyville last season in total tackles with 102, and was 4th in his conference. Also had 3 sacks and 1 INT.
He also plays some WR, and the article about him from The State says he has some quality speed, so perhaps the staff saw that speed as an asset for the defense. Coach Muschamp has lamented several times in pressers that the defense needs to improve in speed....

Indeed. We are missing those fast twitch guys a la Clowney, Antonio Allen, Swearinger etc.
I must say that while I am nervous about our defense this season, I am excited to see what Champ puts out there.
