Michail Carter blowing up

I wondered back in the Winter when I first saw his highlight video why he wasn't rated any higher than he was (somewhere between 100-150 nationally overall). He was very impressive. Seemed every bit as good as some guys rated higher than he was. He absolutely dominated Bama's camp a weekend or two ago, and has moved up to the top of the Bama board, along with the likes of Rashan Gary and Rashard Lawrence. I'd expect him to have a very big rise in the coming weeks when the rankings are updated (and hopefully a nice Bama bump if we can sign him!). Will be interesting to see how his recruitment pans out.

UGA was the favorite for him for a long time but he may end up on the outside looking in if we take Rochester, Clark, Brown, and continue to contend for Lawerence, Gary, and Antwuan Jackson.

Bama's going to make a killing on the DL this year. Looks like UGa is too. As of now, I think Bama's in pretty good shape (though it's early) for Carter. I believe we lead for Lawrence and Gary. Have a good shot to flip DE Janarius Robinson from FSU, and a decent shot at DE Simmons out of MS (yeah... I know... he's from MS). Who knows on Marlon Davidson? The real one that I really like that the recruiting experts are BADLY missing the boat on is Darel Middleton out of TN, although he could be a TE.

I guess we are taking 35 this year?

This is one of those years, where losing out on Carter won’t be necessarily a bad thing. With Brown leaning heavily to the Dawgs and a good chance to close with one of the following mentioned above is pretty amazing. No one really knows where Carter is with his recruitment, but I think the Gators are the team to watch here.

27-28. Probably about 2/3 will be OL and front 7 guys.

Just picked up another. I guess we are looking at 36 with all that we lead for.

What about that isn't true? He's telling some folks he's leaning our way right now. Now... we know he very well might sign with Ole Miss. But how could someone not think that we have a decent shot right now based on the knowledge available to everyone?

There is such a thing as a joke....not a clue where the kid is leaning. He is a Co boy so it's not as though that school is a pipeline for a certain school like SP or WP.

How can Lawrence do that when he's teaming with Rashan Gary and Hulk Jones in the middle of that Bama D-line?
