Go back and read my original post on the subject. I'm not at all saying that bama would be Mississippi State without those guys, and obviously Alabama has a great culture that helps. The point though is that this culture is not unique to Alabama and there are 10-12 other schools that have tremendous cultures of support as well. Alabama is not any more unique in that regard than any other major school. The only reason bama has had more success than say Georgia is because you've been in the right place at the right time with a number of all time great coaches

Maybe but no one has put it together as well as Bama has and that is a fact. Bama's has had tremendous success in every era of the game going back to the leather helmut days. That doesn't happen in a vaccum. Look at Notre Dame. They have a tremendous culture of support and how are they doing?
