Look at it this way under Bryant Alabamas experience was winning football games.
After Bryant, finding coaches was new to Alabama. The rest of the SEC were ahead of Alabama as far as coaching searches went. Bryant caused how many fellow SEC schools to fire and hire head coaches during his time. I counted roughly 47.
