Didn't 2A John Curtis travel up to Hoover and after an early deficit, score 28 unanswered on the 5A Bucs? On national television? With what was essentially a claim for a national high school championship on the line?

Read the thread. We've already discussed the night Joe McKnight ran wild. Don't get why it keeps getting mentioned. Hoover also has quality wins over South Panola, Byrnes, and many other high quality programs throughout the country in the last 10 years.

One game certainly doesn't define an entire classification of football.

Unless you think that Conference USA was just as good as the SEC when UAB walked into Tiger Stadium in 2000 and beat LSU?

Or when LAMO walked into Bryant Denny and took down the Tide?

Or when Ga Southern walked into the Swamp and upset the Gators?

Are you using this to state that 2A in one state, overall, is better than the highest classification (I think it's 6A now but whatever) in another?

Buford HS in GA is 2A and they're a frickin factory. They could easily beat many of the 6A teams in Georgia. They're just that damn good. That doesnt' mean that all of 2A is that good though.
