I think your misunderstanding me when I say that.
I'm simply saying it's not some white suburban heaven with no colored folks for miles, and rows and rows of McMansions with signed subdivisions. Those are the things I'm comparing it to.
Eta. All that said I fricking love Decatur for what it is. Have for my whole life. It's always been my family's gateway into atlanta so I know what I'm talking about. You seem a little defensive towards what I'm saying for being a transplant

I can't be defensive of the city that I love and choose to live in? I've been here for a while. I know that it isn't perfect, but it's my home.
