Wife and I looking at houses in ATL, Decatur school district.... the identical house on the dividing line is $150k, cross the street in the Decatur City School district, literally $600k.

It's going to hit a bubble though, for that price difference you can go private school.

We're two years from that transaction though.

This post is mainly to validate what you are saying.

Also, brother in law worked there, says thumbs up, and another life long friend who has worked in Gwinnett, Cobb, Fulton, and Clarke, he also vouches for Decatur City Schools.

That's because they're that good, except for maybe some magnet schools and Buford High.
