1 or maybe 2 at most? No problem. You trying to save rows of seats is bullshite. Has no one in your family ever witnessed a graduation? People really aren't importantas they think they are in the grand scheme of things. I am assuming these seats were great seats since you got there early. You deprive other kids parents from getting good seats when everyone in your whole family shows up and wants to sit together.
My advice to my family if we want good seats and sit together we ALL need to have our asses there at the same time and early. If you can't make it early sit wherever.

Seats were not particularly great. I purposely moved up a good bit so I would not have conflict. The guy went out of his way to come to this area. The arena was basically empty at that time. I did not "deprive" anyone of anything. It turned out fine; I just found it odd that ONE person would seek conflict in an empty arena.
