Since when were the Olympics US state specific? You are comparing American to American (Except for England) with the post I responded to.

No I'm not.
There is no one-size-fits-all "american".
Other than the fact that the states are all ruled by the same overlords......Georgians are as different from Californians as the Germans are from the French. Or Alabamians are from Hawaiians. Or Scottish people are from Italians. Or metro-atlantans are from SOutherners. Etc and on and on.....
Look at the gigantic piece of real estate we are on, please. There are over 300 million of us living on it. THousands of miles apart from one another.
Hell, in this state alone, there are differences between the people and cultures north south east west mountains and coast.
Grow up.
