Go check my first posts in this thread, I jumped in to point out that "TBJ" wasn't the #2 overall prospect

And that's fine, I didn't have a problem with that as most recruiting sites differ on rankings.

and then nicely asked if I should know who some coach is,

Your question came across as sarcastic, which is exactly what you intended to be. The rest of your posts in this thread bares that out.

then you wanted to be a smartass and talk about the "myth" of Missouri football being below par when ya'll really haven't done much.

Going by when you joined this site (August 2011) you were around when all we heard was how much Mizzou couldn't compete, would get pummeled, a destined bottom feeder etc. Which is exactly why I answered you back sarcastically, because we have shown that was the wrong thinking. I knew how arrogant (nicely asked my arse) your question was. Our DLine coach has help send many of our players on to the NFL just in our short time here.

The problem here is you brush Mizzou aside like we are some peasant working in the fields deserving of no recognition and certainly no respect. And you know, that's cool if that's the way you feel. You and anyone else here can tell us the East is down (something I do tend to agree with) but nobody can change the fact we won the East 2 out of the 3 years we have been here. I know, I know, "so damn what, you won the East when it's down" but your lack of understanding is good programs take advantage of this, which we certainly did.

To answer my own question, since you don't seem to understand what "potential" means. Mizzou, in the long run, will probably be a middle of the pack team most years, occasionally making it to a conference championship game (again, something we already achieved) and yes, if the West provides their classic powerhouse team, may get "skullfricked".

Of course, this could change for the better with Mizzou if we continue with facility upgrades, expanding fanbase donations, and SEC money. Which, of course would and should mean better, higher ranked recruits (like TBJ).

Obviously it was, I phrased it as nicely as I could considering that about 20 people asked "who?" and were met with a bunch of smartass douchey comments from your fan base, if ya'll want serious discussion then start a serious discussion and don't be a bunch of smart asses when people ask a perfectly legitimate question. You understand that when you start a thread about a no name coach (literally every DL coach is a no name), people are going to ask who he is right?

I completely agree with everything else that you said in that post, and I'm really not trying to take away from the fact that Missouri looks a lot more impressive than all the other expansion teams and they've easily jumped straight into the top half of the SEC right off the bat, which is impressive all by itself, but I was indirectly responding to other Mizzou fans in a lot of my posts to you.

Has Mizzou impressed? Sure, and I don't dislike anything about the state of Missouri or ya'll's school or fan base, but I don't particularly like seeing people shite on LSU's program when we've seen as much or more success and titles in the last 12 years as 90% of the teams in the SEC will see in the next 40 years
