I got a job as a wire puller in a chem plant. For a month, 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, I helped pull wires through cable trays. The wires ranged in size from bundles an inch thick to massive metal jacketed MCL cable 6 inches in diameter. I was as sore as I've ever been in my life the first week, but by the time school started the next month, I had dropped a net 15 pounds while gaining the largest biceps I've ever had. I lost the biceps in 3 months, but managed to keep that weight off for almost a year until being at a desk job for 70 hours/week without working out proved to be too much I've gained it all back and then some.

I started working out more 2 months ago and have started eating less and eating more fruits and vegetables, less grain and sweets, over the past few weeks. My pants already fit better. We'll see how long I can keep that up and what the end results will be.

I'm hoping I'll lose the beer gut and get my guns back in time for my wedding in a year. If I could look good shirtless on my honeymoon, that would be the extra kicker.
