Somewhat disagree. We did throw the ball his way and he would drop the bitch or get outplayed for the ball. He's not a very good blocker and gets his arse whipped at the LOS alot.

After he alligator armed that ball against Ole Miss, I'm not quite as high on him. All he had to do was reach up for it and it would have at least been an incompletion.

He's got the physical skills, but I don't think he's got the chest to separate himself as an elite player.

That's right, I said "chest".

And this is why:



The guy has no idea how to use his body as a receiver. He is the opposite of what you want as a possession/receiving TE. Loads of potential but he still plays with the effort and passion of a 2A high school player.
