And we agreed as a conference Tier 3 was one fricking game. Then ESPN waved big money in y'alls face and y'all thought it would be easier to ask forgiveness than ask permission. And y'all were wrong about that.

THAT decision killed the Big 12.

I think you are confusing one conference game allowed on an institutional network with "one game overall."

Long story short, Texas did not break any Big 12 conference bylaw with how it operated on the Longhorn Network.
