OSU was dealing with scholarship restrictions too
Edit: If you look at OSU's personnel losses, like 9 of them were LBers, with a lot of injuries. If OSU was really going to oversign and prcoess, they wouldn't do it at LB, since that position was extremely weak in 2012 and 2013. And OSU signs more with Meyer than they ever did with Tressel for sure

I have no problem with oversigning. It is just being realistic. Not every freshman in outside of the football program will graduate, and it is the same with football players. Some won't qualify from the get go, others may find themselves buried on the depth chart and want to transfer, while others may get in trouble off the field. You also have to take into account JUCOs and three-and-dones.
I highly doubt Saban is kicking off players who want to stay and are doing what they are supposed to do. We've had several guys go through the program without contributing much on the field.
