I don't know about that ~ AU eclipsed UA in total enrollment and for AU it was a source of pride for some time.

Then, UA finally got a damn strong President on campus and he with the help of the BOT had a vision that we are just now seeing come to fruition.

Like I said previously, UA's campus as a whole is unrecognizable to anyone that attended in the 80's/90's. My cousin now lives and works in SanFran and he came back home for the 1st time since '98 - went to the MSU game in BDS with me last year and was floored by the stadium and campus as a whole.

Right- without the infrastructure to procure a quality education for those students, unlike flagship universities like A&M or UA who have the states' wealth behind them to grow with the students.

A lot, if not most, of campuses around the country are like this. A lot of brand new shiny buildings have popped up across college campuses. Part of the growing business of a college degree.
