Additionally, on the same day, why does the USDA issue a statement that U.S. citizens need to no longer worry about the expiration dates on their canned goods ... and in the event of an emergency, or even for everyday used, dates/cans that have expired as long as 18-24 months ago are still edible.

What was their purpose for doing that?

I know ... do you?

Think about it.

It's easy.

As far as the banks implementing a new, and coerced btw, policy of preventing their clients from getting to their money, that one's simple and two parted.

1 - They are doing it under the auspices of preventing criminals from cash laundering. However, obviously, it's under government orders of some sort ... a way to control the citizenry. Records of every purchase. A way to track guns and ammo buys for instance. Ways to track other things we like to buy with cash like precious metals, bulk food, fuel of all kinds.

2 - The banks are worried about an impending collapse. It's got to happen sooner or later .... sooner probably. Obama has been printing cash like a crazy man. Rates have been kept artificially low. He'll frick it up real good right before he leaves office. Banks are trying to prevent runs on the money. Listen, when the big banks are not allowing you to cash your checks anymore ... when they are insisting that you deposit the money and then do all your transactions electronically ... that's just a bad signal. Chase, JP Morgan, now BOA and soon Wells Fargo ... no more storing cash in their safety deposit boxes. This is all coming from the central bank. This was one of the things Obama stated he wanted done before he left office.

The USDA announcement was supposed to be about food waste but it's since been exposed as part of the new Homeland Security policy that is going to encourage people to have at least 32 pds of canned goods stashed away per person in your family ... and even then, IMHO that's not enough. That might get one person through a week maybe. But Homeland Security is claiming that so many people are prepping now that a lot of outdated food is going to waste and that it's okay to keep eating the food after the expiration date on the can or box. Thus, encouraging more people to start prepping and keep on prepping ... you just gotta learn to rotate.

Yesterday and today several cities conducted dirty bomb drills up north.
