Don't forget to mention skill.

Sure the players are more athletic today but most players have limited skills.
Ball handling is an issue, no midrange game, and no understanding of the game in general. Players now are all about dunks and 3s. This is not only lacking in the college game but the NBA as well.

I’m not sure why the NBA doesn’t want kids to stay in college longer to develop their skills and improve their product because it is shite right now. I assume it has something to do with GMs under pressure of losing their jobs and hoping they land the next big superstar by drafting a 19 year old with major upside.

This is a great point. I enjoyed the NCAA tournament for this yr than I have in years. Largely because Wisconsin and ND played a brand of basketball I enjoy watching. We need more of that.
