Yeah, I lived in Charleston, there's no reason to have white cops policing most of North Charleston. It makes zero sense.
With that said, races aside, police being trained/equipped/acting like soldiers in a war zone is the biggest issue. Hardly anyone feels safer (white or black) when they are around.

Are you crazy. Black cops patrolling black citizens would only lead to trouble. Have you ever seen training day? Denzel patrolling the hood is exactly how that would turn out. Or practically any city with a black mayor. Nothing but corruption.
