In the wake of Kentucky being eliminated from the NCAA tourney and the end SEC basketball until next season it is time for us to discuss some football. I have put some thought into who I think will meet in Atlanta for the championship, I have a strong gut feeling that we will see UGA and Arkansas will line up against each other for the big game next year. Some of you die hard SEC junkies may think I am crazy, and you may be right, but I feel like the SEC will be more open than usual next year. In the East you can expect Vanderbilt to still be struggling under Derrick Mason, South Carolina will play better but their defense is still a major question mark, and Kentucky has shown improvement under Stoops but still not a contender. I think UF will be in a major transition with a new coaching staff, and I think that losing Dj Durkin will hurt because he did a nice job with that defense. Missouri will still be tough, but I look for them to take a step back after losing some big pieces on the defensive side of the ball. The top two teams in the East will be UGA and Tennessee and with that game being in Knoxville it could def go the way of the Vols who I expect to be very good this upcoming season, but I feel that Nick Chubb is so special that he and much improved defense will lead to Dawgs to Atlanta. The West is much harder to figure out because there are multiple teams that could win it, but I feel like the Razorbacks will really have a great year. Alabama and Auburn will def be in the mix, and the Mississippi schools will be tough, LSU and Texas A&M will both be wild cards with new defensive coordinators so we will see what 2015 has in store for them. So that's my prediction for this upcoming season, gimme some feedback.
