My point is that they are both high visibility coaches. Of course, MNF gets more viewership than Coast 2 Coast. However, if your a basketball fan. You know Avery Johnson.

For all this Gruden has experience as an assistant coach and has a elite qb camp talk. It is easy to counterpoint that Avery has won a league coach of the year title and an NBA title as a player. Gruden hasn't won as a player nor the coach of the year. I understand he won the Super Bowl. But like I said its a similar hire. Let's not split hairs.
