I'm surprised whenever I run into a Vandy student from Tennessee...I only know 1.
That's like finding a UTK grad in Chattanooga. I've lived here for over four years now, and I've only met one - and she graduated during the Ford administration. Most of the college grads from around here go to UT-Chattanooga.
As for USC, after SC residents, I'd say NC kids are next, followed by Ga. Then you get into your mid-Atlantic kids.

Arkansas being 25% Texan is the new normal here. It wasn't like that even 10 years ago. DFW's fastest growing northern burbs are only a little over 4 hours south of Fayetteville. They are 3 hours from College Station, for comparison.
The recent huge corporate relocations to Collin County mean that their already ridiculous growth might accelerate in the near future, even though it is leading the country right now.
I wouldn't be surprised if the University of Arkansas is around 50% DFW kids sometime in the next decade.
