Just dragging his feet so much and likely doing so for a better deal from you or a raise from WSU. This one has gone on wayyyy too long. He's milking it for all it's worth.
Don't get me wrong though, he'd still be a good hire for y'all. I just don't like it when coaches and/or their agents do these kind of things.
As the old saying goes, he needs to 'shite or get off the pot.' And the more time he spends on this lessens your chances of landing a good hire if he turns you down. The SEC needs to raise the bar in conference hoops -- it benefits us all in recruiting and gives us more tourney spots to have more legitimacy.

I think it appears that way b/c of the social media/message boards. In reality, if someone offered you a new job but you'd have to move your family several states away you would likely ask for a couple of days to consider. I've ask for a weekend to consider before on a heckuva lot less than $4M. I've offered jobs to others before who asked for 2-3 days to consider. It's not that long, really. Just seems like it b/c of half a dozen threads about it and 24/7 posts about it in those threads.

It's a big decision and my uninformed guess is he really wants to take the job, but his family isn't on board. I do to think it's dragging his feet if Battle and Bama are okay with him taking the time to make the right decision.
