Idiots out there think it is. That's my point. I'm not saying I think it is. My whole basis here is what would happen if the legal definition was changed to life beginning at conception. Sheesh. Sure it's a preposterous example, but surely you guys could arrive at the main point instead of attacking a sole example.

Not getting into whether abortion should be legal or not, but no states that I'm aware of allow an abortion at 34 weeks without specific medical exceptions, and the cut off in Colorado is 26 weeks. If they've decided that's the point of viability (it's actually about 2 weeks earlier than that) that they're willing to acknowledge, I don't see why it matters whether the baby is living inside the mom or outside of her when someone kills it.
