One of my great-uncles made his living selling ginseng way back in the day. He was more Cas Walker than tatted up redneck tho. Made a fortune doing it.

You can make good money if you find enough during the season. I think it was going for close to $900 a lb. Dry last season.

We sell ours to a guy in Crossville who sells it to a Chinese guy up in New York City who then ships it to China. Pretty fun process to make a few extra bucks in the summer. If you like being outdoors it's like getting paid to breathe. I love it
