There are only about 10 programs in the nation that can reasonably expect more than what Gottfried did during his run of 5 straight NCAA's. Bama is not one of them. It's what he did after that run that got him fired.

It's not reasonable to expect to be better than an underperforming 8 seed? I'm ok with being an 8-9 seed occasionally, but I expect some 3, 4, 5,and 6 seeds thrown in there as well.
