Would you write a check for something you weren't guaranteed to see? The last time UAB put together a proposal for a stadium the BOT refused to even hear it. The people from UAB showed up to the meeting and weren't even acknowledged

If UAB athletics had even a fraction of the financial backing you pretend they do, the program wouldn't be dead right now.
