Is this supposed to be derogatory towards Auburn?
Nearly every school uses in-state schools as measuring sticks. Alabama used Auburn as a measuring stick and vise versa...that's why you just fired your basketball coach.

Yeah... Couldn't have been that we just had the worst conference record we've had in 30+ years. Or that he's only made one NCAA tourney appearance in 6 years, and made it to the NIT only 3 times. Or that he's only won 1 SEC tournament game in 6 years.
Nah... it must have been because we were using Auburn as a measuring stick. You know... since Grant was only 4-1 against Bruce Pearl in his career and beat him twice this year.
