Go smoke a joint and listen to one of their 10 minute masterpieces that wasn't stolen, like " In my time of dying"
I don't give a frick what they copied, mimicked, heard and liked then integrated, because they are blaringly the best band to come out of that era and it isn't close.

That was kinda my point earlier. ... I was the designated "roller" among my friends back in the day just bc I didn't smoke; it had an adverse effect on me. HOWEVER, the exception was when some of my friends insisted on listening to said Zeppelin 10 min. "masterpiece," so I had to take a couple of hits to get through it without getting a migraine. But just to be clear, I don't think Zeppelin is one of tGOATs, but I do think there are much worse, particularly comparing today's "music." There's no doubt I had rather my son listen to Zeppelin than 95% of the garbage that is considered "music" by today's standards. As a matter of fact, all he listens to is late 60s, 70s, 80s, & a few 90s bands, thanks to SiriusXM & my insistence that the noise that is popular today is not real music.
