Nope. JN was a freshman(and thereby ineligible) when Pete was a Sr. He did score 63 against LSU the year after Pete left and averaged just over 40 points per game for the Rebs. He then became the first "Hardship Case" in professional basketball, leaving school to join the ABA. He and Pete did eventually meet in the NBA several years later but Neumann was never the pro dynamo that Pete was. Good player but not NBA top 50 good as Pete was.
