Fournette also saw 8 in the box all year due to us having a shitshow of a passing game

I rarely comment in this debate, but this is the dumbest argument LSU fans make on this subject. Did any of y'all actually watch UGA play last year? Every team loaded the box against UGA. Hutson Mason scared no one. Chubb (and Gurley and Michel) ran right into the teeth of 8 man fronts all year.

They just did it more effectively. Whether that was due to superior talent, superior blocking, or superior tactics is what you can debate.

No one is debating anything regarding what Chubb ran against last year. I was simply pointing out that LF was our entire offense, and teams didn't have to play against the pass at all.

I can't believe I might be entering an argument of who's passing game was worse, but I think we all know LSU wins that given Jennigns finished dead last in the SEC.

Hutson Mason was considerably better than Anthony Jennings in (almost?) every statistical category for a QB.

Not rustled enough to post stats, but they are out there if you dispute that fact.

there's a difference in not scaring anyone, and flat out not having to game plan against someone. Teams ran the simplest coverages vs Jennings all year. It was infuriating.
