The U.S. Supreme Court had ruled the death penalty unconstitutional from 72-76 (I think), otherwise the DA surely would have sought it.

It's hard to fathom how Corll and two other dudes were able to transport that many bodies from numerous addresses (in greater Houston) and bury them at four different locations, and never got caught. And did this for at least 3 years with most of the victims from the same area of town. Just hard to believe.
