SECn+ broadcasts

Is it true that we only have one set of HD cameras and therefore can only have one sport at a time broadcasting?
I, for one, think it's a sin that we had no baseball broadcast yesterday. Nobody wants to watch basketball (not in its current state at least)
Today, we have softball on while we have the rest of the baseball game on radio. Then, the cameras have to hauled over to Dudy Noble for the game later this afternoon.
Does any of this seem counter productive to y'all? Should we have multiple camera(s) crews(s) so we can broadcast all of our games at all times?
Ole Miss had all of their baseball on this weekend.
I know I'm being very biased, but I think Baseball should have priority at all times.

There's no way we only have one set of HD cameras.

I sincerely hope not. There was no excuse, however, to not have at least one of the games Saturday on SECn+.

I highly doubt that y'all wouldn't have at least the same type of equipment that we do.

Check out baseball this weekend. No Saturday game, but we have the basketball game. This is a travesty. There shouldn't be any reason why we can't have both.

Dude, it is probably something to do with the SEC Network, not us.
Are there not about a thousand more baseball games on tv this year than last year?

Stricklin just confirmed it via twitter.
Not enough equipment to do both but they 'plan' to get more to do both simultaneously.
Shouldn't we have already done this with the SECn on the way? Someone's job in production needs to be seriously questioned.

I see you asking the question.
Also, Sticklin going in on people asking stupid arse questions about the Dude. He must have given that one account the same answer 10 times and he still couldn't comprehend. Some people are just idiots.

I very seriously doubt that buying equipment like that isn't Stricklin's call.

I'm not sure, just seems like a major oversight by the athletic department. If it's a budget thing...hey I understand budget things..they effing suck and are a huge blockade to progress.
Do you think we'll get any HailState Production videos for baseball? Doesn't have to be once a week but it would be nice.

Yeah, they've done a couple I think. They just don't push them like they do the football ones.
I'll try to update the video thread when I get back Monday.
Got Lakers tickets for Christmas so I'm headed to Memphis for the weekend.

Who would make the call then? Seems like a total lack of planning on our part. We've had over 2 years to plan for multiple broadcasts. Hell we can't even get all of our games on statewide radio most weekends.
It's very frustrating to a baseball fan that lives 3.5+ hours away from The Dude to not be able to watch or listen. Especially when my Ole Miss friends enjoy all of their baseball games on TV, even when they have a home basketball game. If we consider ourselves to be a top baseball program then we need to step up.

Can we get a stickied thread and call it "Taxman's baseball cry corner"?

I don't agree with him on the stadium thread but he's right on this one.

Does HailStateTV not still carry the games? You could always pay for that. I'm sure your Ole Miss friends aren't getting it for free.
