I think you're leaving parts of your story out. I highly doubt a company would fire you based on "lies" from an ex gf. What really happened? Tell us the truth.

the company probably has a no beta policy. Im not buying that he is sleeping in his car.
since he got fired, he could easily stay with a friend or family member in any state
