I recognize both Norm Stewart and Mike Anderson as good coaches, not great or elite ones though. Their differing styles won games, but never pushed over the edge. Norm's teams always played hard on defense, crashed the glass, but seemingly never had that guard/wing player that could take over a game with a mismatch. I even tend to agree with it. I was here for Nolan ball so I know it has its ups and downs.

I still think KA should get another season to put his system and players on the court. Mizzou just doesn't have the players. Bring Dean Smith back from the dead, have his Asst. coach be a healthy Pat Summit, and have John Wooden's bagman ready to distribute cash and Mizzou's team this season would still have a losing record.

It is probably going to take a year or two before something comes together... and it may very well be that KA is not the coach to get you there in the long haul.
