I went to the Mizzou game in Knoxville this year and had a great experience. Probably the friendliest people of any city I have been to. I wanted to visit Sevierville and other cities out that way, (and on to Asheville) but didn't have the time!

Try Blowing Rock, NC. Not exactly SEC but close enough.

Glad you enjoyed it. I recommend next time try to get a cabin or something in the Smokies a day or two before or after the game.
