I'm sure you must mean that educated people generally vote progressive. I have Masters degree and I do not nor do most of my friends most of whom have at least an undergraduate degree. Upbringing, where you were educated, occupation, etc. probably have more to do with political inclinations than education alone. Here's some summary data on Wiki: LINK Note that 92% of what they categorize as Enterprisers voted for Bush in the Bush vs Kerry election and 46% of those Enterprisers had college degrees. 81% of what they call Liberals voted for Kerry and 49% of them had college degrees.
