i'm surprised no one has started hollering racism. this would open up more scholarships for white players.
but there is a different perspective. it is not racist to teach young black man about the importance of an education, teaching them that they are blessed with a mind that can achieve more than they imagine. getting to the pros and having success is like hitting the lottery - it's just not available to many - not even the black athletes. But an education is.
speaking of that - they need to get rid of these crap degrees - sociology, psychology, kinetics, African-American studies, feminist studies, an endless load of crap offered for all students. we need to get the education back in the system.
