“Mississippi State,” Brown said. “Alabama, Cal; Cal’s coming at me real hard.”

When are you going to figure out who gets officials? And how are you going to decide who gets them?

“To be honest, I haven’t really been focused on that,” Brown said. “I’m trying to win a state championship. It’s going to be like real soon, though. Probably in a week or so I’m going to figure that out with my family.

“I know Mississippi State and Ole Miss probably aren’t going to get one because I go there all the time. I can go there whenever.”

How often do you talk to Alabama? And how many times have you been over to Tuscaloosa?

“I talk to Nick Saban a few times out of the week,” Brown said. “I talk to Coach Napier almost every other day. I’ve been over there two or three times.”

Out of Alabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, who’s got the coolest game day atmosphere?

“I’m going to have to go with Alabama,” Brown said.

What stands out about the Crimson Tide?

“That’s a winning program,” Brown said.

When do you plan on announcing?

“Signing Day,” Brown said.
