Going back a bit, but here are a couple nuggets on AJ Brown from this Summer:

Though he got hurt on the first day, Brown was looking like one of the top receivers at the event through one day because of his competitive demeanor and his physicality. The speedy Sachse wide receiver had his moments, but the biggest standout wide receiver with a Texas offer was Starkville (MS) product A.J. Brown. The four-star prospect was Shane Buechele’s go-to wide receiver during 7-on-7 play before an injury sidelined him. Brown can flat out go up and get it. The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder punished corners with his physicality and always caught the ball at its highest point. Brown also ran great routes and developed some nice chemistry with Buechele, who spent some time at The Opening advocating for Texas.
