He's only been in one playoff game. Making fun of him for losing the first ever playoff game is like making fun of Gus for losing his 1st ever national championship as a HC.

He was in the NFL for a few years and never won a playoff game there either.
He has not shown the ability to win consecutive games against excellent teams. He can win ONE game against a good team and then take a few weeks off and win another. But back to back to back? Nope.
That is why everyone outside the state of alabama knows that Pete Carroll is a GREAT coach. He can win at every level.
