quote:
Couch said the NLRSD notified Bolding of four allegations against him in a letter announcing his suspension, prior to news of his termination. First, the North Little Rock Athletic Foundation bought hundreds of thousands of dollars in athletics equipment for the school. Second, the athletics department purchased new coaches' headsets and did not follow proper procedure in disposing of the old equipment. (I didn't see the termination letter — Couch says his client will release it at a later date — but these first two items may have to do with complaints that Bolding excessively prioritized NLR's football program at the expense of other athletics in the district.)
Third, in mid-December, Bolding posted an item on his Facebook page expressing frustration over disparity in football programs between Arkansas districts, which the district said was bad for NLR's image. And fourth: A potential AAA violation that NLR thinks may have occurred in early 2013 regarding the eligibility of a student athlete to transfer to the school. (Couch wouldn't confirm that the athlete is Hill, but the timeline makes sense. We'll have to wait to see the exact nature of the alleged AAA violation.)
The juicy bit.

What a piece of shite, I mean, not terrible.. but the guy just seems like a greasy cock sucker.
Would be absolutely SHOCKED if Hill was not shopped out to the highest bidder at the last moment

I don't understand why the first two allegations make a bit of difference or why prioritizing NLR's football program 'at the expense of other athletics in the district' is a fireable offense.
Obviously the AAA violation is a fireable offense and the facebook comment (though we all know NLR had a reputation anyway and it didn't do much if anything to damage it--really just confirm it), while seemingly trivial, is certainly a write up, but why the need to buttress it with the other two?
Not a manager, don't have these skills yet, halp

Don't get me wrong, Bolding sounds like a skeezer, but the first three allegations are extremely "meh" at face value. So they're canning him for a) getting new shite from the NLRAF for his team, b) not "disposing of old headsets properly", and c) a Facebook post griping about NLR not being commited enough to football?
Who knows, maybe it's just Al Capone getting pinched for tax evasion.
