Go frick yourself you ignorant piece of shite. The deeds these losers were just accused, charged and CONVICTED of is no where near the same ballpark as banging a lying, self-described "cleat chaser". Seriously, go frick yourself.

Such rage. That's exactly the sort of fan reaction that makes people afraid of the consequences of accusing star quarterbacks of rape.

Here's the thing, randomways, you know I agree with you ~90 percent of the time. Hell, we're on the same wave length most of the time and you're one of my favorite posters but I do have to say your original comment warranted criticism but not in the way the FSU poster criticized you -- as soon as he went cleat chaser he devalued any argument he had.

That said, you shouldn't have turned it into 'we did it right but FSU is awful' when you did even though in the most recent cases I agree with you 120% (I just feel it's a discussion all it's own given the recency of the verdict or at one that should be broached a little bit later than it was posted and I'd be with you, maybe even if you'd just waited a few pages in). Timing, my friend, timing.

There's no doubt that how VPD reacted by turning it over to Metro as well as how the program reacted by kicking them off instead of waiting was admirable but it's also the way things *should* be. It's sad we live in a world where too many schools will try to thwart or downplay sexual assault and rape whether they involve football players or just regular students.

I'm proud of how Vandy handled it -- this is my state and I don't want these guys on the street. I'm also proud of how UT handled the Paulk situation (he was kicked off the team instantly for hitting his gf even though charges were never filed) and how the AJ incident has played out even though suspending him was an enormous loss to our team but it's being handled through the proper channels even though neither AJ or Williams had been charged and still haven't been charged or their case even presented to a backlogged grand jury as of yet and a lot of schools would've said, "well until they're charged they can play, especially a guy like AJ." So the two Tennessee schools in the SEC have done well on this but again this is how it should be and probably a conversation that should've been saved until at least more pages into the thread.

Just my two bits.
