Kind of an uphill battle for a niche market (and I say that as a Christian). Hollywood doesn't really cater to those films, so they don't have the resources or the pull to get the best acting and production.
The best Christian movie I have seen to date was The Climb (2002). Decent storyline and well-acted. Starred Jason George and Ned Vaughn, iirc. But still kinda cheesy, of course
